Spanish scientists have created the first cell photocopier, a breakthrough that could revolutionize the world of research and potentially replace an entire laboratory. Manuel Fuertes, Managing Director of Oxford University Innovation in Spain, is responsible for securing funding for the project. “This machine replicates cells, and among its applications, it enables any type of tissue regeneration and serves as the first supplier of bio-inks—normal ink but with cells, which can even be used to print organs,” he stated.
